If you haven't already heard (thank you @DylanBrent and @PanO_o), Google is attempting to raise money for various organisations using a Chrome extension that counts how many browser tabs you open during the day.
The deal:
The Chrome for a Cause extension counts your tabs while you browse the web. At the end of the day, you'll be asked which charity you'd like to donate your money raised to. Every day between December 15th and 19th presents the chance to contribute tabs donations, so you can choose to support the same charity or pick a different one each day. It is also worth knowing that this application only tracks the amount of tabs you open, and none of your browsing history or private data.
