Duke Nukem Forever is like the Avatar of the gaming world. More-or-less ten years in the making, with cancellations, pushed release dates, and now finally it's here. Also, much like James Cameron's Avatar, one kinda, HAS TO like it, because of peer-pressure.
But I've never been one to fall for peer pressure (bar a few times at... well... bars) and I will be the first to say that I don't think these screenshots look particularly enticing. Well, not nearly as enticing as the screenshots I posted of The Force Unleashed II or Brink.
But then again, Duke Nukem has never been about technical greatness or graphical marvels; it has always been about bad-ass-ness, male-chauvinist ego, and non-stop action, all of which are clearly present in the following screens. So... Enjoy.
Rumored for a May 2011 release. Boom.
