Google Chrome for a Cause Initiative [Google]

If you haven't already heard (thank you @DylanBrent and @PanO_o), Google is attempting to raise money for various organisations using a Chrome extension that counts how many browser tabs you open during the day.

The deal:

The Chrome for a Cause extension counts your tabs while you browse the web. At the end of the day, you'll be asked which charity you'd like to donate your money raised to. Every day between December 15th and 19th presents the chance to contribute tabs donations, so you can choose to support the same charity or pick a different one each day. It is also worth knowing that this application only tracks the amount of tabs you open, and none of your browsing history or private data. Download the Chrome for a Cause extension here, and get tabbing.

Duke Nukem Forever Leaked Screenshots [17 Pics]

Duke Nukem Forever is like the Avatar of the gaming world. More-or-less ten years in the making, with cancellations, pushed release dates, and now finally it's here. Also, much like James Cameron's Avatar, one kinda, HAS TO like it, because of peer-pressure.

But I've never been one to fall for peer pressure (bar a few times at... well... bars) and I will be the first to say that I don't think these screenshots look particularly enticing. Well, not nearly as enticing as the screenshots I posted of The Force Unleashed II or Brink

But then again, Duke Nukem has never been about technical greatness or graphical marvels; it has always been about bad-ass-ness, male-chauvinist ego, and non-stop action, all of which are clearly present in the following screens. So... Enjoy.

New Brink Screenshots [6 Pics]

If you haven't heard of Brink, the upcoming first-person shooter developed by Splash Damage and inspired by the Seasteading movement, then you have some serious catching up to catch up on. Brink will apparently be released during the third quarter of 2011 (although the release has been delayed twice already, so don't get your hopes up.

Here are a few screenshots from the Xbox version of the game to wet your loins. (Click on them for the full-res versions)

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Looking Good. [19 Pics]

Below are some super-fantastic screenshots from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. The game is set for a release date of October 26th and promises to be a bajillion times the game its predecessor was. Until then though, let your eyes do the walking over the next few pics.

Photoshop This! [2 Pictures]

The Chive recently had another Photoshop This! task, which I decided to partake in. Here is their brief.

Attention Chivers, use this photo of the First Family and send us a photoshopped pic back to thechivesubmit[at]gmail[dot]com. These do not have to be "good" to be posted, they just have to be awesome. God speed.

I did all that, only to find out that they shut the whole thing down because they had too many submissions. So, I've put them up here, hopefully to provide you with perhaps a smidgen of laughter and/or entertainment.

On another note, the submissions that did go through were okay, but not that great.
